Gordon Ramsay spotted in his £2.5 million Aston Martin Valiant
Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has been spotted driving around London in his new ride – an Aston Martin Valiant. Apparently, it is the first Valiant delivered in Europe.
Ramsay was seen getting into his £2.5 million machine and driving around the posh locality of Mayfair. This appears to be the same Valiant that Fernando Alonso drove at the Goodwood Festival of Speed. The car has a white exterior with distinct blue and red stripes along the sides. It is fitted with the 21-inch magnesium wheels sans the carbon aero discs.
The Aston Martin Valiant is a more track-focused version of the Valour. Only 38 examples are being produced.
The Valiant gets a more pronounced splitter at the front, while a fixed spoiler replaces the rear ducktail. It also gets a carbon fibre grille, flared side fenders, quad exhausts, broad side sills, and upswept vortex generators just ahead of the rear wheels.
At the heart of the Valiant is a twin-turbo 5.2-liter V12 engine, which has been tuned to 735 hp and 555 lb-ft of torque. The engine is hooked up to a 6-speed manual transmission.
