The Lexus LC 500 is nearing the end of the road in the US, with the luxury coupe now effectively sold out across the country. Discontinued after the 2026 model year, only 10 units are reportedly left in dealer inventory nationwide.
Introduced in 2018, the LC spent nine model years in the Lexus line-up. Its combination of striking styling, a well-finished cabin and a naturally aspirated V8 gave it a character that was quite different from the brand’s other offerings.

The Lexus LC 500 was powered by a 5.0-litre V8 producing 471 hp. The hybrid LC 500h, meanwhile, was dropped after the 2025 model year. It paired a 3.5-litre V6 with two electric motors to deliver a combined 354 hp.
With the LC gone, Lexus will no longer offer a coupe or convertible in its US range. The brand’s focus is now firmly on SUVs, with eight models in that category alongside just two sedans.
