Aston Martin has introduced the Vantage S in Singapore, bringing a sharper, more focused version of its already potent sports car to local buyers.
The 4.0-litre twin-turbo V8 now delivers 671 bhp, up from 656 bhp in the standard Vantage, and comfortably ahead of rivals like the Porsche 911 GT3 in outright output. Torque remains unchanged at 800 Nm (590 lb ft), but improvements to the launch control system mean the Vantage S now hits 100 km/h (62 mph) in just 3.4 seconds.
Aston Martin has reworked the chassis with recalibrated Bilstein DTX adaptive dampers and stiffer rear springs, all aimed at improving agility and front-end grip. A directly mounted rear subframe enhances steering feel, while revised camber, toe, and caster settings sharpen overall response.
Visually, the changes are subtle but effective. New bonnet vents help extract heat from the V8, while the rear gets discreet ‘S’ badging and a full-width decklid spoiler.
Inside, the cabin is a mix of Alcantara and leather with satin carbon fibre trim. ‘S’ logos are embroidered into the seats, alongside the signature Aston Martin wings.
Now available for order in Singapore, the Vantage S starts from $880,000 before COE and options.
