World’s first Ferrari SF90 XX tuned by Novitec revealed
The Ferrari SF90 XX is essentially an SF90 that has been tuned and perfected for the racetrack. Ferrari has left no stone unturned in the pursuit of faster lap times. Improving an already perfect machine would be a task in itself, but Novitec took up the challenge anyway. This is the world’s first SF90 XX tuned by Novitec.
On the outside, the Novitec Ferrari SF90 XX looks similar to the standard car. The only bits that are different are the wheels, suspension and exhaust. The car rides on NF11 centre-lock wheels by Vossen with 21-inch rims in the front and 22-inch at the back.
Coming to the suspension, the car rides on Novitec springs that lower it by 2 cm compared to the standard car. The exhaust, on the other hand, might look stock at first glance because the owner of this SF90 XX has opted to retain the OEM exhaust tips. However, it is fitted with a Notivec muffler, which does make a great sound.
Powering the SF90 XX is a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine paired with three electric motors. While the standard SF90 packs 986 hp, the powertrain has now been tuned to 1016 hp. The powertrain is hooked up with an 8-speed dual-clutch transmission, which now gets revised software. It enables the car to hit 0-62 mph in 2.3 seconds and reach a top speed of 199 mph.
