The new Toyota GR GT3 race car has finally hit the track, giving us our first look at the racing version of the upcoming GR GT supercar in full competition livery.
The number 32 Eneos X Prime GR GT3 was spotted at Motegi Circuit near Tokyo, where it is taking part in the final round of Japan’s Super GT series.

Until now, Toyota had only shown the GR GT3 in an all-black finish. The new race livery is quite a contrast, with bright orange and red colours, along with several yellow accents. Japanese petroleum company Eneos is the car’s title sponsor.

Rookie Racing is fielding the car for the Motegi double-header, replacing its usual Mercedes-AMG GT3 entry for the event. This marks the GR GT3’s first taste of wheel-to-wheel competition in a racing series, making it an important step in its development.
The race car would arrive in the US for the 2027 IMSA season, while the road-going GR GT is likely to be launched near the end of 2027.
