The Tesla Cybertruck could be nearing the end of its production run, with Elon Musk confirming that output of the EV will wind down around mid-2027.
The move is intended to free up manufacturing capacity for the company’s Cybercab, an autonomous taxi that Tesla plans to build in greater numbers.

Musk shared the development on X, but offered no details on whether Cybertruck production would shift to another factory or come to a complete stop.

Meanwhile, Tesla has officially dropped plans to launch the Cybertruck in Australia. The company has informed local reservation holders that the market launch has been cancelled, with deposits set to be refunded.
