Watch Ferrari mechanics build the $1.8 million Monza Speedster

The Ferrari Monza broke cover back in 2018. Ferrari is making fewer than 500 cars and these are being built on a special assembly at Maranello. Here’s a short video of the Monza Speedster being assembled on the Linea Serie Speciale (LSS).

The Monza SP1 and SP2 are based on the 812 Superfast. The cars have a front-mounted 6.5-liter, naturally aspirated V12 engine. It produces 800 hp @ 8500 rpm and 530 lb-ft of torque @ 7000 rpm. Ferrari claims that Monza will do 0-62 mph in 2.9 seconds and 0-124 mph in 7.9 seconds.

Deliveries of the Monza have already commenced. Among those who have received the keys to their supercars is celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay.

This exclusive machine is among a breed of supercars that have been in demand off late. It rivals likes of the McLaren Elva and the Aston Martin V12 Speedster.
