Supercars like the Lamborghini Reventon Roadster rarely escape climate-controlled conditions. And it’s understandable considering their cost, rarity and sophisticated engineering. But it seems like someone doesn’t care about all that, as a Reventon Roadster was recently spotted on the wet streets in Hamburg.
Limited to just 15 units worldwide, the Reventon Roadster remains one of Lamborghini’s most theatrical creations. First revealed in 2007, its design took heavy inspiration from fighter jets. Even today, it looks less like a car and more like something cleared for takeoff.
Beneath the angular carbon-fibre skin lies familiar hardware. It shares its bones with the Murcielago, complete with a naturally aspirated 6.5L V12 pushing out 641 hp. A single-clutch automated gearbox handles shifts, launching the car to 62 mph in just 3.4 seconds and on to 211 mph.
You see, the Reventon was never about numbers. It’s about presence. That’s precisely why this sighting matters. Finished in stealthy tones and wearing Swiss plates, this particular example wasn’t tucked away, but driven in the rain!
