Street-legal Glickenhaus 007S based on Le Mans Hypercar to debut at Villa d’Este
Scuderia Cameron Glickenhaus was among the first teams to race under the new Le Mans Hypercar class in the World Endurance Championship. Two years ago, the company announced that it would introduce a street-legal version of its LMH-spec machine. Well, the car is almost ready and will be showcased at this year’s Concorso d’Eleganza Villa d’Este.
The street-legal Glickenhaus 007S is currently being readied back at the factory. It looks identical to the Le Mans racer with its teardrop-shaped canopy and the massive front splitter and rear wing. The road version features 3 seats with a centrally positioned driver’s seat.
Underneath the carbon fibre bodywork is a KTech twin-turbo V8 that delivers 1000 hp. We hope to learn more about the technical details of the car by the time of the unveiling.
The company plans to build 24 examples of the Glickenhaus 007S. Production is already underway, with the first customer car (VIN 001) currently being assembled.
