Ford is making a change to the Mustang Dark Horse SC lineup for 2027, dropping the Track Pack Special Edition. The package was introduced as a more exclusive take on the track-focused Mustang and came with a hefty price tag.

Available alongside the 970A High Package, the Special Edition added $31,980 to the bill. In return, buyers got a black-painted roof, Race Red Brembo brake calipers for the carbon-ceramic brakes, carbon-fibre exterior parts and dark-finished graphics. The cabin received its own set of upgrades, including Solar Red Recaro seats, red-striped seat belts, titanium paddle shifters and special serialised dashboard badging.

There were a few restrictions, too. The package couldn’t be combined with the Teal Accent Package, while the black roof was available only with Oxford White paint.

With the Special Edition gone, the 2027 Ford Mustang Dark Horse SC starts at $108,485, while the regular Track Pack version costs $144,985. The fully equipped Special Edition previously pushed the price to $175,965, making it a rather expensive choice.
