Mopar ’19 Dodge Challenger Limited Edition Breaks Cover

Mopar celebrates 10 years of factory-vehicle customization with the Mopar 19 Dodge Challenger Limited Edition.

Named the Mopar ’19 Dodge Challenger and available exclusively in Pitch Black and White Knuckle shades, the new limited edition series is based on the 2019 Challenger R/T Scat Pack. According to Dodge-FCA marketing material, the special edition is Mopar’s way of celebrating 10 years of “factory-vehicle customization”.

Only available on this special production Mopar-branded muscle car are an array of exterior and interior features. Unique Mopar Shakedown graphics comprising of asymmetrical Mopar Blue center stripes, Shaker Hood flanked by Shaker badges, functional black hood pins, and a rear decklid spoiler garnished with a unique Mopar Design badge are the noticeable changes on the outside. The special edition muscle car stands on 20-inch forged aluminum wheels with genuine Mopar-branded center caps, valve stem caps, and wheel locks. The new wheels come shod with Goodyear performance tires.

The designers chose a minimal route when it came to changing the interior and stuck to a bunch of Mopar badges and embroidered logos. Nothing to write home about as far as the interior is concerned.

The engine and transmission remain untouched with the 6.4-liter HEMI V8 mated to a 6-speed manual or an optional 8-speed automatic transmission, producing 485 hp and 475 lb-ft. What’s noteworthy though is that the Mopar ’19 Dodge Challenger has a cold air intake, strut tower braces, and Brembo brakes with red calipers.

Only 100 units will be made with prices starting at $45,835. Orders will be accepted from September and deliveries are set to commence in the fourth quarter of the year. Customers will receive an exclusive Owner’s Kit with a birth certificate, a full-color Mopar ’19 booklet, a unique keepsake with engraved vehicle number and a Mopar ’19 rendering.
