Lexus LFA Concept EV unveiled; Not the LFA we wanted

Lexus has previewed its next-generation sports car – the LFA Concept. Unfortunately, it’s not the LFA we were hoping for, as the naturally aspirated V10 engine has been replaced with electric motors and a battery pack.

The Lexus LFA Concept is based on the same platform as the Toyota GR GT, which was also revealed earlier today. Underneath is an all-aluminium frame, with an elongated bonnet and short overhangs.

The LFA has a sharp nose section with vertically stacked LEDs, V-shaped signature lamps and L-shaped LEDs around the rear. Unlike the GR GT, the LFA has a more futuristic cockpit.

The LFA Concept was previewed at the Monterey Car Week 2025 as the Lexus Sport Concept.
