Owning a Ford Mustang is about more than just having a powerful V8 in the garage. Ford is now looking to bring that community closer together with Mustang Unleashed, a free digital platform for US-based owners, fans and creators.
The idea is to give Mustang enthusiasts one place to plan drives, discover events and connect with other owners. Its MyDrive feature lets members map, record and share routes, whether it’s a scenic backroad cruise or a longer road trip. MyInvites, meanwhile, works as a digital calendar for finding or organising local meets, shows and group drives.
Members can also link their cars to the Special Vehicle Registry, while the MyPoints system rewards participation with points that can be exchanged for merchandise, gear and discount codes.
Mustang Unleashed will also tie in with major gatherings such as Ponies in the Smokies and Mustang Week. Ford plans to add curated driving routes featuring scavenger hunts, riddles and progress tracking.
