Land Rover is set to discontinue two of its most affordable premium SUVs. The Range Rover Evoque and Velar will go out of production after 2027 and will be replaced by the upcoming Range Rover GT.
JLR has confirmed to Autocar that the Evoque and Velar are being phased out. 2026 will be their final model year, as production is set to end in mid-2027.

JLR won’t be replacing the Evoque and Velar with their respective next-gen models. Instead, the gap will be filled by a premium electric SUV, which according to JLR has been engineered for long-distance journeys.
The Range Rover GT is based on Land Rover’s new EMA platform. The luxury EV is expected to be powered by dual motors, giving it all-terrain capability.
