A classic-looking Mustang with enough power to catch people off guard. That’s what Pete Wojtowicz has with his 2011 Ford Mustang Shelby GT350R, recently featured by classic car YouTuber Lou Costabile near Indianapolis.
Finished in white with blue racing stripes, matching mirrors and a smooth front nose, the car takes inspiration from the original 1965 Mustang. Even Carroll Shelby’s signature appears on the quarter windows. But the real surprise is under the bonnet.

The 5.0-litre V8 has been fitted with a Ford Racing Whipple supercharger, helping it produce 650 hp on the dyno. Power goes through a McLeod dual-plate clutch and a six-speed manual gearbox. The setup also includes an aluminium driveshaft and Shelby brakes.
Other details include sequential taillights, pillar-mounted gauges and a centre-exit exhaust. As shown in Costabile’s video, the Mustang has no trouble breaking rear-wheel traction when the throttle is opened.
This desirable Shelby Mustang is currently up for sale but we don’t know the asking price. If any curious fellow finds out, do let us and others know in the comments below.
