Ferrari has taken the wraps off its newest one-off model, the SP48 Unica. It’s a 2-seater coupe based on the F8 Tributo.
We had reported about the SP48 Unica back in August 2021. Back then, we knew the name of the next one-off thanks to a leaked trademark.
Now, coming to the car itself, the SP48’s design is clearly inspired by the Ferrari 296 GTB. The front still has the F8 headlamps but the surfaces around them and the bumper have been cleaned up. On the side is a new triangular air intake.
The rear wheel arches and the overall rear fascia are very reminiscent of the 296 GTB. One of the most striking design features though is the roofline and the way it blends in with the rear deck lid.
Powering the SP48 Unica is a 3.9-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine. In the F8, the motor churns out 711 hp and 568 lb-ft of torque. It enables the car to hit 60 mph in 2.9 seconds, while the top speed is 211 mph.
