Ferrari F40 crash video: This was the moment he knew, he f***ed up
Images of a wrecked Ferrari F40 had surfaced online a few hours ago. The supercar was reportedly crashed by a service technician while out on a test drive. We now have a video that shows the exact moment when the driver lost control.
The video posted on Instagram shows the Ferrari F40 crashing heavily. The car swerves to the right, which suggests that the rear wheels might have lost traction. The driver clearly didn’t have enough time to react as the F40 ploughed into the roadside, taking a light pole with it. As you can see in the video, the F40 first hits the curb, and the car flips over as the wheels dig into the mud.
Reports suggest that no one was hurt in the accident. While the driver escaped unscathed, he certainly has some explaining to do.
The Ferrari F40 is powered by a 3.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 471 hp and 426 lb-ft of torque. The engine is bolted to a 5-speed manual transmission.
