Chevrolet Camaro Collector’s Edition revealed as 6th-gen model set to retire

The 6th-generation Chevrolet Camaro will be phased out after 2024. However, before the iconic muscle car goes out of production, GM has rolled out a special model – the Camaro Collector’s Edition.

The current generation Camaro was introduced in 2016. Over the years, Chevy has offered a wide variety of special editions, including the 50th Anniversary and Redline Edition. The latest addition is based on the LT/RS, LT1, SS and ZL1 trims.

The Camaro Collector’s Edition is available in a new Panther Black Metallic Tintcoat paint with Satin Black stripes. The car is equipped with 20-inch Satin Black forged wheels with red brake calipers, a front splitter and a rear spoiler from the ZL1.

Production of the Collector’s Edition will be limited to 350 units. Each car will come with a serialized steering wheel badge. Inside, it will get special floor mats with a laser-etched aluminium Collector’s Edition logo and black interior trim.

Powering the Collector’s Edition is Chevy’s 650 hp LT4 V8 engine. Owners will also receive a Canfield Sport 45 mm watch from Shinola with an inscribed serial number that matches the number of their vehicle.

The 2024 Chevrolet Camaro range will reach showrooms in the summer of 2023. This will be the last V8 Camaro, as rumors suggest the next-gen will be an EV.
