Aston Martin V12 Speedster gets a cool aftermarket windscreen

The Aston Martin V12 Speedster looks cool, but the driving experience is quite compromised. It’s a similar story with other models in this highly exclusive segment, including the Ferrari Monza and the McLaren Elva.

One of the major drawbacks of a Speedster is the lack of a proper roof and a windscreen to shield you from the elements. You can only drive the car when the sun is out and using a helmet. That said, 7X Design now has a solution for your troubles.

The company is now offering an aftermarket windscreen for the Aston Martin V12 Speedster. The 2-piece partial canopy uses factory mounting points and does not require any modifications. Also, the aerodynamic screens look way cooler than the ones provided by Aston Martin.

The V12 Speedster made its debut in March 2020. It is powered by a 5.2-liter, twin-turbo V12 engine that delivers 700 hp and 555 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to an 8-speed automatic transmission, which drives the rear wheels via a limited-slip differential. 0-62 mph comes up in 3.5 seconds, and its top speed is 186 mph.
