Aston Martin has introduced a limited edition version of its flagship SUV, the DBX 707, in Japan. It’s called the Midnight Podium Edition, of which, only 11 examples will be built.
The JDM special edition DBX 707 comes in a striking colour scheme. It is painted in Oberon Black with lime green accents, inspired by the Aston Martin Formula 1 car. The SUV rides on 23-inch wheels finished in satin black and gets lime green brake calipers.
The interior has a similar theme with black and green leather and lime green stitching. It also gets a carbon fibre centre console and carbon scuff plates with the ‘Japan Midnight Podium Edition’ text, among other special touches.
Under the bonnet is a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that develops 697 hp and 663 lb-ft of torque. The engine is mated to a 9-speed automatic transmission and an all-wheel drive system, allowing the SUV to sprint from 0-60 mph in just 3.1 seconds.
