Aston Martin has introduced the DB12 S – a sharper and more powerful version of the DB12. As expected, it comes with incremental performance upgrades similar to the Vantage S.
Starting with the engine, the 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 has been tuned to produce 691 hp and 590 lb-ft of torque. That’s 20 hp more than the standard model. The extra oomph is complemented by quicker gearshifts, resulting in a 0-60 mph time of 3.4 seconds (3.5 seconds for the Volante). Top speed is pegged at 202 mph.
Under the skin, the DB12 S gets retuned Bilstein DTX dampers, stiffer anti-roll bars and reworked suspension geometry, which is said to improve handling. The steering, throttle and the electronic rear differential have also been recalibrated. The DB12 S also gets ceramic brakes as standard.
On the exterior, the DB12 S features a few cosmetic changes to differentiate it from the standard car. The most prominent is the new exhaust. It has double-stacked tailpipes on either side. Besides this, the car also gets a new fixed rear spoiler, a new diffuser, a dual-element front splitter and a new bonnet with additional louvres. Inside, you get premium leather and Alcantara upholstery with ‘S’ motifs.
The Aston Martin DB12 S is available in Coupe and Volante bodystyles. Deliveries will begin in Q1 of 2026.
