When you spend $20 million on a one-off Bugatti, you don’t just visit a dealership, sign the paperwork, collect the keys, and drive off in your new car. The handover is more like a gala event with a posh dress code.

A similar event was recently held in Chantilly, France. The occasion was the delivery of the Bugatti Brouillard. It was attended by Bugatti CEO Mate Rimac and the man who designed the car, Frank Heyl, along with other dignitaries. As you can see, the customer was pretty excited about his new car.

The Bugatti Brouillard is the first coach-built model built under the Solitaire programme. It is based on the Chiron platform and features a bespoke exterior finished in a metallic green shade and has an exposed carbon fibre lower section and unique black wheels. The interior is wrapped in custom-woven fabrics with green-tinted carbon fibre and aluminium trim.

The Bugatti Brouillard uses the same 8.0-liter W16 engine that powers the Mistral. The quad-turbocharged unit delivers 1600 hp to all four wheels.
