When you spend $20 million on a one-off Bugatti, you don’t just visit a dealership, sign the paperwork, collect the keys, and drive off in your new car. The handover is more like a gala event with a posh dress code.

A similar event was recently held in Chantilly, France. The occasion was the delivery of the Bugatti Brouillard, which coincided with the Chantilly Arts & Elégance. It was attended by Bugatti CEO Mate Rimac and the man who designed the car, Frank Heyl, along with other dignitaries. As you can see, the customer was pretty excited about his new car.

The Bugatti Brouillard is the first coach-built model built under the Solitaire programme. It is based on the Chiron platform and features a bespoke exterior finished in a metallic green shade and has an exposed carbon fibre lower section and unique black wheels. The interior is wrapped in custom-woven fabrics with green-tinted carbon fibre and aluminium trim.

The Bugatti Brouillard uses the same 8.0-liter W16 engine that powers the Mistral. The quad-turbocharged unit delivers 1600 hp to all four wheels.

  • Ok…I am a car guy…but…$20m for a car is insane and so is the person who spends that kind of money for a car that’s hardly going to be driven. I only hope that whoever spent this kind of money on a car also supports and gives needy and humanity causes.

  • Another Chiron with a few customisation.
Nothing really amazing or even newsworthy.
Maybe one day Mat Armstrong will have to fix it one day….

    • Good on the guy…..his dosh…..can do as he wishes…..although if I had that kinda swedge, personally I wouldn’t spend that amount on one car….but undoubtedly it will be a great investment over time…..Will only go up

  • OK, but tesla s for $100 k model will smash this 20 or 30 or 100 million car on start and will make it look like have a problem with the engine

  • I agree.. I feel like so many brands and owners have really strayed from the fact that cars are made to be driven! Sure it’s great having something expensive and flashy to look at, but why not just buy a painting with that mentality?!
