The Red Bull RB17 hypercar is a track car built on the lines of the Aston Martin Valkyrie AMR Pro and the like. It will be powered by a naturally aspirated V10 engine that revs to 15,000 rpm. The ICE engine, which produces 1000 hpwill be paired with a 200 hp electric motor. A combined output of 1200 hp will be more than sufficient, with a claimed weight of less than 900 kg.

Newey’s design will generate up to 1700 kg of downforce at 150 mph. The car’s lift-to-drag ratio has been described as “unheard of” by Newey himself.
