Just like the Huracan Tecnica, which marks the end of Lamborghini’s NA V10 range, the Gallardo was given a worthy send-off with a special edition – Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse. Only 50 cars were built and one of them will soon hit the auction block.
The Gallardo is one of our favorite Lambos, especially the Superleggera. Now, RM Sotheby’s is offering a chance to own a rare piece of Lamborghini history and it’s a lot more special than the forementioned Superleggera.
The Gallardo LP 570-4 Squadra Corse features more aggressive front and rear bumpers and a fixed wing at the back. It even has a racecar-style quick-release engine cover and carbon-ceramic brakes all around.
Powering the Squadra Corse is a 5.2-liter V10 that packs 562 hp. The engine is paired with a 6-speed automatic transmission which propels the car to a top speed of 199 mph. This particular example has just 3687 miles on the clock.
