A new Alpine A110 prototype has been spotted in France. However, the company has already announced the end of production of the second-generation A110. So, what could they be testing now?
In 2024, Alpine unveiled the A110 R Ultimae as the most extreme iteration of the sports car. The latest test mule looks similar, except for a few details.

The prototype has louvres on the front fenders and an aero blade behind the front wheel arch. It is missing the dual canards seen on the A110 R Ultimae.
The rear spoiler looks slightly different as well. The wing profile appears to have been tweaked and has large endplates. The pylons supporting the wing are also different.

Another modification worth noting is the lack of a central shark fin on the rear windshield. Instead, the car has two small vertical elements on either side of the roof panel. The lightweight wheels have a different design too.
