French automaker Alpine has finally revealed the A110 R Ultime – a limited-edition version of the A110 sports car and the sportiest road-legal Alpine ever made. The car will be showcased at the Paris Motor Show, alongside the A390_β show car, Alpenglow HY6 and the A290.

The Alpine A110 R Ultime, as the name suggests, is the ultimate version of the A110. It is equipped with a more track-focused aerodynamic package, which includes a front splitter, side skirts, a large diffuser, and a new top-mounted rear wing with large end plates. It is said to generate more than 160 kg of downforce at top speed.

Powering the A110 R Ultime is a 1.8-litre, turbocharged 4-cylinder engine that has been tuned to produce 345 hp @ 6000 rpm, while torque has gone up by 59 lb-ft to 310 lb-ft compared to the A110 R Turini.

According to Alpine, the engine features a modified turbo and is paired with a new DW6 gearbox. The car is also equipped with an Akrapovic exhaust, Ohlins adjustable dampers, and AP Racing brakes with high-performance brake pads and new cooling ducts. It rides on 19-inch wheels shod with Michelin PS2 Cup tires and can accelerate from 0-62 mph in 3.8 seconds.

As we had reported earlier, production of the Alpine A110 R Ultime will be limited to 110 units. Prices start at €265,000 including VAT.
