After recently becoming the world’s fastest production car, BYD’s Yangwang U9 Xtreme celebrated its new record at the world’s tallest building, the Burj Khalifa.

A video on social media shows the world’s fastest EV arriving in style at the Burj Khalifa, amid a lot of fanfare. Everyone present was trying to capture it on their devices. Flaunting its futuristic design, stylish LEDs, and 01 numbering on the hood, the Yangwang U9 Xtreme can also be seen showing off its dance moves.

At its recent attempt in Abu Dhabi, the Yangwang U9 Xtreme reached a top speed of 503.17 km/h, or 312.65 mph, to secure the Guinness World Record. It was driven by sports car and endurance racer Marc Basseng.

As per the post, the Burj Khalifa is 808 metres tall. If laid on its side, the Yangwang U9 Xtreme would have covered the distance in less than 6 seconds when going at its top speed of 503.17 km/h!
