Ford Mustang GTD with all options costs more than $600,000!

The Ford Mustang GTD is the fastest American production car to lap the Nurburgring. It is also the most powerful Mustang ever made. However, is it compelling enough for one to spend $600,000?

The Mustang GTD certainly has what it takes to compete with some of the finest sports cars Europe has to offer. It’s not just fast in a straight line, but it can go around corners just as quickly.

That being said, it comes with a high price tag. The starting price for one of these track-focused muscle cars is $325,000. But that’s before you get to the options list.

According to a collector who has a Mustang GTD on order, the price after all the options is “concerning.” In an episode of The Smoking Tyre Podcast, he told co-host Matt Farah that the final price of his car after all the options were added ballooned to over $600,000!

As you would’ve guessed, the options on a Mustang GTD are rather expensive. The Carbon Series adds $103,000 to the price tag, while the Spirit of America edition costs an eye-watering $429,000!
