Ferrari 499XX to offer customers a taste of the Le Mans-winning 499P

Ferrari is said to be working on a new track car based on the Le Mans-winning 499P. It is likely to be called the Ferrari 499XX and would be offered exclusively to the brand’s top clients.

There have been several rumours floating around about the 499XX. Some more details, albeit unconfirmed, have been shared by @supercarsfor.sale.

According to the latest information, only 50 units of the Ferrari 499XX are likely to be built, with a price tag of €5 million each. The car could be revealed alongside the 296 Challenge during Finali Mondiali.

The 499XX will be powered by the same twin-turbo V6 hybrid powertrain as the Le Mans car. However, unlike the competition version, which is restricted by regulations, clients will experience the full potential of the engine and chassis. We expect the 499XX to look similar to the Le Mans version. That being said, Ferrari might improve the aerodynamics even further.

The track-only hypercar segment has witnessed a significant rise in recent years. The insane prices are a testament to the demand for these highly exclusive machines.
