Exclusive! Ferrari 296 Speciale Piloti could be unveiled in June
The Ferrari 296 Speciale made its global debut last month. Based on the 296 GTB, the Speciale is a more track-focused version that comes with several upgrades both inside and out.
The 296 Speciale is the successor to the 488 Pista. If you recall, that car was offered in the limited-edition Piloti spec. We’ve been told that the new model will also get the Piloti treatment.
If the latest rumours are true, the Ferrari 296 Speciale Piloti could debut as early as June 2025. As we are told, it is expected to get “special upgrades”.
The 296 Speciale Piloti is likely to be powered by the same upgraded 3.0-liter twin-turbo V6 plug-in hybrid that produces 867 hp. It will also get a retuned suspension with stiffer and lighter titanium springs and Multimatic adjustable shock absorbers.
The “special upgrades” on the Piloti might also include a unique livery inspired by the 296 Challenge race car and more carbon fibre parts as standard. The interior might get a special colour scheme with Alcantara upholstery, painted trim and a tonne of carbon fibre.
