Bugatti has dropped the first teaser of its next one-off coachbuilt hypercar. The new Solitaire model will make its public debut at The Quail during Monterey Car Week.
The short teaser video confirms that the car will be powered by the brand’s 8.0-liter W16 engine. It is likely to be the 1600 hp version – the most potent iteration of this legendary engine, which also powers the Brouillard and FKP Hommage.

The upcoming one-off Bugatti will be the third car built under the Solitaire programme. It will be based on the Chiron platform.
According to our sources, the exterior design will feature elements from the new Bugatti Tourbillon and the brand’s wild, track-only model, the Bolide. It might feature X-shaped headlamps and the X-wing-like taillights from the Bolide and the Tourbillon’s wide horseshoe grille.
