Aston Martin is celebrating its 60-year partnership with the world’s most famous spy, James Bond, with a new DB12 Goldfinger Edition.
The Aston Martin DB12 Goldfinger Edition has been created by the brand’s bespoke customization department, Q by Aston Martin. The car is finished in the iconic Silver Birch exterior colour, similar to the DB5 that featured in Goldfinger. It rides on silver 21-inch wheels with black brake calipers and gold side strakes with a unique Aston Martin logo in silver and black enamel.
Inside, the DB12 Goldfinger Edition mimics the DB5’s style with leather Sports Plus seats finished in flute style and the Prince of Wales check pattern. The same pattern can be found on the door inserts and headliner. The car also gets 18k gold-plated interior accents and a notched gear selector, among other details.
The DB12 Goldfinger Edition is powered by a 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 engine that delivers 671 hp @ 6000 rpm and 590 lb-ft @ 2750-6000 rpm.
The Goldfinger Edition is limited to just 60 units. The car will be delivered to the owners along with several exclusive gifts, including a custom car cover and luxury key presentation box, along with a Silver Birch Speedform model and for something truly unique, a section of the iconic Furka Pass scene in Goldfinger in 35mm film. Aston will also provide a magnum of 2007 vintage Champagne Bollinger, individually numbered, with four exclusive Bollinger 007 glasses, elegantly presented in a bespoke Globe-Trotter Air Cabin Case.
