It has been nearly a year since Aston Martin delivered the first production Valhalla, and the British marque is already gearing up to unveil an open-top version of its mid-engined supercar.
Industry sources indicate that the Valhalla Spider could debut as early as November 2026. The Spider will be more exclusive, as it is expected to be produced in even smaller quantities than the hardtop coupe, which is limited to 999 units globally.
While official details remain under wraps, the Valhalla Spider might feature a removable targa top. The weight penalty should be minimal thanks to its carbon fibre construction. Still, Aston Martin would be aiming to keep weight close to the coupe’s target dry weight of roughly 1,655 kg.
Underneath, the Valhalla Spider will share the coupe’s carbon fibre monocoque with aluminium subframes. The same suspension setup will be carried over with pushrods at the front and a five-link setup at the rear.
Powering the Spider will be the same 4.0-liter twin-turbo V8 plug-in hybrid as the coupe. The internal combustion engine is paired with three electric motors to produce 1065 hp and 811 lb-ft of torque.
