It was just last month that we reported the 2027 Mercedes-AMG CLE 63 being spotted. It was an early prototype of the car. And now, the Cabriolet version has been caught on camera undergoing testing.
The car is wearing camouflage on its front end, suggesting most of the changes are likely to be present here. We can see that the front grille of the 2027 Mercedes-AMG CLE 63 Cabriolet seems different from that of the regular 2027 AMG CLE 63 that was spied last month. It is also fitted with what appears to be a foldable fabric roof.
Apart from that, the front bumper also seems to have a different design. Although the headlights appear to be the same, they have been disguised, which makes us believe that Mercedes might do some tweaking here as well.
Under the hood of the 2027 Mercedes-AMG CLE 63 Cabriolet would likely be the brand’s new flat-plane crank V8 engine, which is also expected to power the standard 2027 AMG CLE 63. Currently, it is being used in the latest S-Class, in which it has been tuned to produce 530 hp and 553 lb-ft of torque.
