General Motors’ design studios around the world are currently working on the future Corvette. The team in the UK revealed a concept in April this year. Now, GM’s California studio has unveiled its version of the next-gen Corvette.

The California Corvette Concept was created by GM’s Advanced Design California studio located in Pasadena. The team is calling it the “C10”, as the design looks two generations into the future. It’s also an EV and houses a T-shaped battery pack.

The C10 concept measures 182.5 inches in length and has a wheelbase of 109 inches. It’s 10 inches wider than the current Corvette and sits more than 7 inches lower.

The C10 concept has a sleek, futuristic design with a lot of focus given to aerodynamics. It has a large front splitter with massive intakes, flared wheel arches with vents at the top and air channels along the sides. The car relies on underbody aero to generate most of the downforce. The rear diffuser is a key element of the aero package, which, as you can see, is quite large.

The Corvette concept has a wraparound windscreen and a fighter-jet cockpit-style cabin. The interior appears to be an evolution of the current model.
