Automobili Mignatta, a startup based in Italy, has been working on a lightweight V8 speedster called Rina. It will be revealed on May 8, 2025.

The Rina is a 2-seater barchetta inspired by classic Italian automobiles from the 1960s. The teasers reveal a typical speedster design with a long hood, short overhangs and flared wheel arches. It has oval headlights and circular LEDs with a ducktail spoiler at the rear.

But, don’t be fooled by the 60s styling. Underneath, the Rina is a completely modern machine. It is based on a carbon monocoque and weighs just 1,000 kg.

Under the hood is a naturally aspirated V8 engine mated to a 6-speed manual gearbox. Power is sent to the rear wheels via a limited-slip differential.
