Porsche is currently working on a pure-electric version of the 718 Boxster. Spy images of the early prototypes are all over the internet. However, a new set of images has emerged, giving us a peek into the Boxster EV’s interior.
The Boxster EV test mule seen in these images is equipped with a large touchscreen. It has a wide and flat centre console area and a stubby drive selector.
Moving to the driver’s side, the Boxster EV is likely to get a fully digital instrument console and a 3-spoke steering wheel. The display features circular dials in typical Porsche fashion. On the extreme left is the battery charge indicator.
The upcoming Porsche Boxster EV will be based on an all-new platform designed for small electric cars. It is rumoured to be powered by a single electric motor mounted in the rear.
