The 2027 Ford Mustang is getting a few changes for the new model year, and one of them is rather unusual. As per reports, Ford is dropping the Mustang’s rain-sensing wipers.
The feature is currently standard on the 2026 Mustang as part of the Ford Co-Pilot360 package. For 2027, it will reportedly be replaced by conventional intermittent variable wipers.

On the plus side, the American brand is making its Security Package standard across the Mustang lineup, with one year of coverage included. Owners can also purchase a seven-year plan, with the connected service offering theft-recovery and vehicle protection features through the Ford app.
Ford is also giving the Mustang Mach-E a useful update for 2027. The biggest addition is a new Trail Package aimed at buyers who want to take their Mach-E beyond the pavement.
