A $17 million Pagani Zonda HP Barchetta has wrecked during a rally in Croatia. This is the same car we featured in February this year when it was delivered to the owner. Only three Zonda HP Barchettas exist, making it the most expensive model in the Pagani range.
Videos that have surfaced on social media show the convoy of hypercars passing through a narrow street somewhere in Zagreb, Croatia. An Apollo EVO can be seen going past the camera, with the HP Barchetta on its tail.
You can hear the V12 engine rev as the car goes past, and at one point, the rear tires lose traction. It hits an oncoming vehicle before coming to a halt. The impact is such that it destroys the rear suspension. The front suspension seems to have taken a hit as well.
Powering this ultra-rare speedster is a 7.3-liter naturally aspirated V12 engine developed by AMG. It is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox.
He just do not know to drive, that is all. The car drifted on a straight part of the road and slammed into the Ford Fiesta. The Ford has not much damage and is still drivable. 😂
It’s just a scratch. It will buff out 🙂
This shows that there is no shortage of rich idiots.
The first car is not an Apollo IE, it’s an Apollo EVO.
C’mon… poor journalism.
Thanks George for pointing out the mistake. It is indeed the Apollo EVO.
