Tailormade Ferrari 488 Pista Spider in Purple looks classy as hell!
The Ferrari 488 Pista is the track-focused version of the relatively relaxed 488 GTB. Naturally, we see a lot of colorful, ‘look-at-me‘ specs that bring out the hardcore nature of this machine. But, on rare occasions, we stumble upon bespoke specs like this.
This tailormade 488 Pista Spider is finished in a stunning shade of purple and we love it! The whole car is painted in a color called Vinaccia 390. There are no stripes on the car to draw your attention away from the base color. Although, it does feature some carbon fiber that adds contrast.
Speaking of which, the silver wheels suit this car rather well. We like the fact that they didn’t go for the optional carbon fiber rims. They do have the carbon centre caps though. On the inside, you find Daytona seats wrapped in tan leather with purple prancing horses on the headrests. The door panels are in carbon fiber and have tan-colored door pulls.
Powering the 488 Pista Spider is a 3.9-liter, twin-turbo V8 engine that produces 710 hp @ 8000 rpm and peak torque of 568 lb-ft @ 3000 rpm. The engine uses Inconel exhaust manifolds, lightweight crankshaft, flywheel, titanium connecting rods and carbon fiber intake plenums. The engine is mated to a 7-speed dual-clutch transmission that sends power to the rear wheels.
