A supercar wedding convoy in the UK was supposed to make a memorable entrance. Instead, several of the vehicles reportedly ended up in an impound yard before reaching the celebration.
The Avon and Somerset Roads Policing Unit received multiple reports about a group of high-performance cars allegedly being driven dangerously on the M4 and M5. Officers later located the convoy and seized several vehicles, while the drivers were reported. Police are also investigating to identify other cars allegedly involved.
Photos shared by the Avon and Somerset Roads Policing Unit on Facebook show an impressive lineup, including two Audi R8 Spyders, three Lamborghini Huracans and a Mercedes-AMG G63.
It remains unclear whether the cars belonged to the wedding guests or had been hired for the occasion. Either way, the convoy apparently attracted more attention than its organisers wanted.
Police acknowledged that supercars can add plenty of excitement to a special event, but stressed that public roads are not the place for high-speed displays.
