Pagani celebrates Horacio’s 70th birthday with Huayra 70 Roadster
Pagani is celebrating its founder’s 70th birthday with the launch of a new special edition hypercar called the Huayra 70 Roadster. The first of only three cars planned was recently revealed at the event held at the factory.
The first Huayra 70 Roadster has been commissioned by the Barchetta Collection and will be delivered to Cincinnati, OH. It’s a one-off spec called the Huayra 70 Trionfo.
The Huayra 70 Trionfo features a green exposed carbon fibre exterior with orange accents. The bodywork appears to have been inspired by the Pagani Imola Roadster. It has a more pronounced splitter in the front and a large wing at the back. It features a Zonda Cinque-style intake scoop with a shark fin extending from it.
The car also has additional extractor vents on top of the front and rear fenders, as well as a large rear diffuser.
The Huayra 70 Roadster is powered by a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 that delivers 834 hp. Interestingly, the engine is paired with a 7-speed manual transmission.
