RM Sotheby’s is offering you a chance to own a rather special McLaren F1. Previously owned by the Sultan of Brunei, this F1 will be available for sale at the upcoming Abu Dhabi auction in December 2025.

Out of the 64 road-spec McLaren F1s produced, this particular example is chassis no. 14. It was delivered new to the Brunei royal garage. Originally finished in Titanium Yellow over black, the car was rebuilt in 2007 to its current specification.

This McLaren F1 is fitted with the High-Downforce Kit and LM-spec interior. The exterior is finished in plain white and has black OZ Racing centre-locking wheels. The odometer currently shows 13,711 miles. It’s also the last of only eight F1s to receive the HDK treatment.

The ex-Brunei McLaren F1 is expected to fetch around $21 million at auction. Another special car that will be offered at the Abu Dhabi auction is the one-off Pagani Zonda Riviera.

Nope. This is going to go MUCH higher than that. With what happened at car week this year, (f40s going nuts), this is probably gonna hit 30 or maybe, dare I say, 50 million. It’s an LM. Sure, it’s not orange, but it’s also got a VERY cool story.
    This one is gonna pop.
