Last month, Porsche introduced the 718 Cayman GTS 4.0. It has the same 4.0-litre engine used in the Spyder and GT4 and here’s Mark Webber enjoying every bit of it.
The ex-Formula 1 driver took the 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 around the Estoril circuit. Watch as the ace driver heel and toes his way around the racetrack.
Coming back to the engine, the 4.0-liter, flat-6 engine produces 394 hp and 309 lb-ft of torque. The glorious naturally aspirated motor is paired with a equally sweet 6-speed manual transmission. Porsche claims a 0-60 mph time of 4.5 seconds and a top speed of 182 mph.
The 718 Cayman GTS 4.0 sits 1 mm lower to the ground compared to the standard Cayman. It also comes with Porsche Active Suspension Management (PASM), Porsche Torque Vectoring (PTV), mechanical limited-slip differential and Sport Chrono Package as standard.
The same engine and gearbox combo is available in the 718 Boxster GTS as well.
