Koenigsegg Gemera’s Twin-Turbo engine crackles into life

We hadn’t heard much from Koenigsegg in the past few months until the first images of the Jesko Absolut prototype surfaced online. Now, there’s another update from the Sweden-based hypercar maker. It’s about the 4-seater Koenigsegg Gemera.

It is assisted by two electric motors and has a combined output of 1700 hp and 2581 lb-ft of torque. The internal combustion engine alone makes 600 hp! The hypercar also gets torque vectoring, all-wheel drive and 4-wheel steering.

Koenigsegg brought along two other prototypes for the shoot. They had the Regera and the Jesko Attack.
