Is this the first customer Pagani Utopia hypercar?
It’s been a year since Horacio Pagani revealed his latest creation, the Pagani Utopia. There have been numerous sightings of test mules ever since the ‘Huayra replacement’ was first announced. The two pre-production models built by the company have also been presented across the world at several events.
Now though, images of a never-before-seen Pagani Utopia have surfaced online. A car finished in a dual-tone spec was spotted in Italy, which has led to speculations that it could be the first customer car.
Unlike the pre-production cars, this Utopia has blue bodywork with a darker shade in the middle. It also has a blue and yellow pinstripe running along the centre line and over the roof and engine cover.
The Pagani Utopia is powered by a 6.0-liter twin-turbo V12 engine developed by Mercedes-AMG. It produces 864 hp @ 6000 rpm and 811 lb-ft of torque @ 2800-5900 rpm. The engine can be mated to a 7-speed automated manual transmission or a pure manual. It’s unclear whether the car featured in these images has the old-school gearbox.
