Final V10-powered Audi R8 GT special edition debuts
Audi has taken the wraps off the final edition Audi R8. This model marks the end of the road for the V10-powered supercar.
The 2023 Audi R8 GT comes in a rear-wheel drive configuration, and a more powerful V10 engine. Production numbers are limited to 333 units.
The Audi R8 GT final edition gets some cosmetic revisions on the exterior. These include a carbon fibre front splitter, dual carbon dive planes on the sides, carbon intake scoops, a diffuser and a larger rear wing.
Inside, the R8 GT gets black Alcantara upholstery with red stitching and matching seat belts. The floor mats have embroidered ‘R8 GT’ logo, and the build number can be found on the carbon centre console.
The 2023 Audi R8 GT is powered by a 5.2-liter V10 engine. This is the final iteration of the naturally aspirated motor. It puts out 602 hp and 413 lb-ft of torque and is paired with a 7-speed dual-clutch automatic transmission. Audi claims a 0-62 mph time of 3.4 seconds and a top speed of 199 mph.
