As per an Instagram post, a Ferrari Monza SP2 was seized by the police in London. The video shows the roofless sports car being escorted by two police vehicles.
It has been reported that the reason why the London police seized this Ferrari Monza SP2 is a lack of insurance and a driving licence. This is surprising because who would own such a spectacular limited edition speedster and have no insurance and licence?
What we can infer from the entire footage is that perhaps the police seized the SP2, but the owner didn’t want it to get towed away on the flatbed. That explains why it was being escorted by a police car at the front and a police flatbed at the back. No further details are known at this point.
The Ferrari Monza SP2 is powered by a 6.5L naturally aspirated V12 engine. It makes 799 hp at 8500 rpm and 530 lb ft of torque at 7000 rpm, which is enough to do 0-60 mph in 2.9 seconds and reach a top speed of over 186 mph.
