Ferrari F50 sells for $5.5 million at auction; A new record!

A 1995 Ferrari F50 has been sold for $5.5 million at RM Sotheby’s Monterey auction. This makes it the most expensive F50 sold at an auction.

The Ferrari F50 offered was chassis no. 103921. It was the 47th F50 built by Maranello and was one of just 55 delivered to the US. The car was delivered to Houston, TX.

This F50 started life as a Rosso Corsa car and was later repainted in Azzurro California. It was restored to its original spec by Ferrari of Houston before being sold to actor Nicolas Cage in 2004. The car received its third Platinum award at the Cavallino Classic Palm Beach in 2023.

The F50 is said to be in outstanding condition and is Ferrari Classiche Certified. It has 8556 miles on the clock and comes with original accessories, including a 3-piece luggage set, red Ferrari seat and steering covers, the Barchetta top and roll bars, and more.
